Gusto Company Tour

On January 15, 2020, ACM-W was invited to tour Gusto, a company that provides cloud-based payroll, benefits, and human resource management software for small businesses based in the United States. In addition to the tour, ACM-W members had the opportunity to talk to a panel of expert women engineers and recruiters about internship opportunities, work experiences, industry, and technical background. We also were given tips on how women could not only be a part of the industry, but also thrive in the workforce. Gusto provided an extremely educational glimpse into the workforce which helped bridge the gap between academia and industry.
